Simon is a twelve month old healthy baby boy. He has a lovely little smile and is very affectionate. Simon has a good appetite and is willing to try most foods. He communicates through babbling, smiling and laughing. He loves being held and cuddled by his foster carer and cries when separated from her. He can crawl, stand, walk by holding on to furniture and climb the stairs proficiently. Simon enjoys playing with musical noisy toys and enjoys the company of adults and children. |

| Simon needs an adoptive family who reflect or can promote his heritage, accept uncertainty about the long term impact of drug exposure and who will support his future development. | ||

| is how Simon's foster carer describes him. She also says that he is happy, smiley and inquisitive. Simon loves to go out in the pushchair and his carer says that they are constantly stopped by people on the street who comment on how beautiful he is. | ||
