Phenton is an active child, he has been with his current carers since September 2007. |

| Phenton needs an adoptive family who reflect his ethnicity, not living in the south of the London Borough of Southwark and who can accept some uncertainty relating to his mothers drug use and lack of information about his father. | ||

Phenton is a sweet natured and happy boy. He loves going to the park, exploring the garden, looking through books and playing with his toy cars. He also likes music and will dance when he hears a tune! He loves being a helper to tidy his toys and will happily clap his hands when he has finished! Phenton has a robust appetite and is keen to eat a variety of foods. Phenton's communicates using sounds and gestures, and is learning Makaton signing as he does not yet speak. He has been referred for a Speech and Language assessment and this appointment is pending. There are no additional concerns about his development and he is a bright boy who understands and responds to what is said to him. Phenton often has restless sleep. He will wake two to three times a night but settles quickly after comfort from his carer. Phenton is an affectionate child and seeks out cuddles and kisses from his carers. |
