George has blonde hair, blue eyes and he has a very contagious laugh. He can be very entertaining and loving. George was born 4 weeks premature and he was relinquished at birth. He has global developmental delay. George has made gradual progress in sitting up, he can now sit up unsupported for a limited time. He is making attempts to crawl, though most of the time he is getting around by rolling over. |

| George presents as a calm, happy and friendly child who has settled into his placement. In terms of play and activities George has the ability to engage himself in independent play with his soft toys, he tends to interact well with his carers and can seek attention from a significant adult when he is restless, needs to be fed or in need of adult attention. A one or two parent adoptive family is needed who can promote and nurture George's needs. George requires a placement that will provide him with warmth, love, security, and permanency within a family who can provide him with support and guidance. | ||

| George has truncal hypotonia which affects the tone of most of his muscles.He has physiotherapy every two weeks and the foster carer carries on doing these excercises with him at home on a daily basis. This is essential for Georges futher progress. | ||
Social & Physical Development |

George enjoys the company of both adults and children. George enjoys his bath time and likes to be pampered by being stroked on the back and has the ability to play independently with his soft toys. George interects well with the foster carer and her extended family, he responds babbling and can now say "nana", "dada", "baba" and "mama". George is continuing to develop his own personality and has formed a good bond with his foster carer. George loves to listen to classical music, he appears much more happier and relaxed whilst he is doing so. George is very impatient when his food is around, he is not a fussy eater. George sleeps well and will only wake up when his nappies need changing. |
