Alfie is a six year old boy of White UK heritage. Alfie has straight light reddish coloured hair and has brown eyes. Physically, Alfie is developing at the expected level for his age, however he does have some health needs which are presently being tended to by his foster carer and monitored by medical professionals. Alfie also has a lazy eye which is being monitored by eye specialists. |

| Alfie comes from a background of chronic neglect with concerns about physical abuse and substance misuse. Alfie is the second youngest of 9 siblings and was placed in care when he was 3 years old. As a result of his upbringing Alfie can often engage in attention seeking behaviours and requires a high level of supervision. Considering Alfies high level of need he would benefit from being either the only child or youngest in the adoptive/long-term foster placement. | ||
Educational needs |

| Alfie has a statement of educational needs which provides him with one to one support in school. This has assisted Alfie tremendously in his learning. Alfie has also done some work with an occupational therapist which has helped both the foster carer and school understand how best to work with Alfie. | ||

| Alfie loves to play outside and enjoys engaging in messy arts and crafts such as finger painting. Alfie is a great lover of music and enjoys dancing and playing with his toy instruments. Alfie is known to have a wonderful sense of humour. He also enjoys engagement with his foster carer and can be tactile. | ||
