Introduction:

James is quite shy, unconfident and laughs nervously when stressed. He can be loving and often request cuddles', he is willing to help, desperate to please, and as the eldest child has been the 'leader of the group'. He loves football, enjoys school, he has regular sessions with the school SENCO as has missed a lot of schooling prior to his foster placment. He and his siblings are very settled in the foster placement where they have all been together since they became looked after in April 07 . Christopher is chatty, curious, active and very keen to help. He is wary of new situations, loving and affectionate, however can be sulky when he feels an injustice. He loves working in the family allotment, digging/planting/watering, he also enjoys food shopping and helping to put it away and cooking dinner. He enjoys school and now mixes appropiately with his peers, ( after initial secualised behaviour). He too has sessions with the school SENCO. He enjoys looking smart and having family routines and structures in place. Rose has been quite unemotional and has acted out her frustrations through stealing and lying at school, although this improved when she resolved her internal conflicts. She also portrayed assorted secualised behaviour at the begining of the placement but this has stopped now. She is always desperate for attention and will chat endlessly in an attempt to get it. She is a friendly little girl generally who likes drawing, creative things, playing with her dolls and Barbies. Rose had not attended a lot of school prior to her placement and found it extremely hard to follow school rule's. She is not quick to grasp new concepts and is wary of new things. She now likes to shower every day and have her hair dressed nicely with pretty adornments. She is slowly learning to cover up and not undress/walk around undressed in front of others. She too enjoys the routine and boundaries of family life that are now in place. Chantelle is cheeky, cute, and strong willed, she likes her own way and is prone to tantrums on occasions. However she can also be very loving and affectionate. She loves to sing loudly all the time and onlookers would describe her as adorable. She loves playing with her toys, creating pictures, painting, learning new songs at playgroup and making up her own songs. She loves playing in the swimming pool but can't swim yet. She is hearing impaired and awaiting surgery which causes her to shout and be very loud at all times. However she is an extremely skilled lip reader. Her balance is affected and she often falls/trips, so needs her hand held constanly when out to retain her balance/catch her. When she first came into care she portrayed assorted sexualised behaviour although this is gradually reducing. Chantelle has responded well to the firm boundaries in the foster placement and has settled well. Rose and Chantelle are

We are seeking a two parent family that can reflect the racial and cultural heritage of the children.
